Make this yours — this is Skagit Circuit Electric's tracker right now, but the tool works for any business. Tell your chat assistant to modify this template, not build a new one.
Heads up: this is a working demo, not a finished product.
This is a working demo — everything you see (clients, jobs, invoices) is fake sample data stored right in this browser. Click around, add a job, mark something paid. Nothing will break, and nothing leaves your computer.
When you're ready to make it yours: rename the business in Settings, then just tell Claude what you want to change. Every tab has its own 💡 hint button with copy-paste-ready prompt ideas.
⚠ Once you're entering real client info here, avoid putting gate codes, alarm codes, or anything similarly sensitive in a notes field — especially once this is synced to a real database.
Right now, everything is saved privately in this browser only (nothing is sent anywhere). That's perfect for trying the template out.
⭐ More advanced — when you're ready for this to work across your phone, laptop, and team, the next layer is connecting a small free database called Supabase. This template is already built so that step is a simple swap — see supabase-setup-notes.md for the exact table setup, or just ask Claude: "connect this template to Supabase." This is the biggest real jump: from a private, browser-only file to an actual database. If it's not set up carefully (Row Level Security), a stranger could potentially read or edit real client names, phone numbers, and invoice amounts — worth doing with Claude's help, not rushing solo.
Made a mess trying things out? No worries.
